For a cyborg, like the guy described in the end of the previous post, the Server will be a space of reconciliation and synchronization. It will be a place where all the bits of information and all the separate gadgets will get cleaned up and synchronized. Like “disk defragmentation” for your computer, a spa of sorts that relaxes, restores and makes run faster, the server will be the church of the cyborg.

The server is really ¬†interestingly close to Koolhaas’s Berlin wall (see SMLXL). It is a piece of no-place in the city. Instead of being a dividing, it is a vertical, “needle” element. What is the gravity of a thing like that?
